 I've created a survey to research and define who my target audience will be

this will help me create an idea for my documentary and help with what format I will want my documentary to be in

This shows the overall age that my audience will be between the ages of 16-18

these results show how many people know who the BBC are

this shows how many people watch the different BBC channels and know what type of content the BBC create and produce, this means that the audience will be more familiar with the format in which BBC's documentaries are filmed

this shows how many people who took the survey actually like documentaries, this is helpful as what would be the point in making a documentary if most of the target audience who are going to watch it aren't going to watch it because they don't like documentaries

this shows the amount of people who took the survey actually watch documentaries because, again, if the audience who did the survey didn't watch documentaries it would be a bit pointless making a documentary if the audience I'm targeting don't watch documentaries

this shows the genders of my audience, this shows me who my audience is and how I can appeal my documentary to that audience

this shows the different documentaries some of the audience who took the survey would recommend, this shows that those who chose to answer this question watch and can recommend documentaries meaning I can take inspiration from these documentaries to make my documentaries more appealing to the audience
